the day to day
Its the little things in life that make you smile...One of my classes got cancelled today...and there was much rejoicing.
Upon my return from the cancelled class, I walked under the outstreached hands of the trees that loomed above. Their leaves were blushing in different shades of red, and as they fell, it occured to me that winter was upon us...and there was further rejoicing because it meant the snow season wasn't far off.
Once I got back to my room, I went to the Whistler-Blackcomb website and found that the season opens on Nov 23, which is less than 1 month away...and there was further MYASSIVE rejoicing.
After much excitment, I went down to get my bike to go to my next class...and guess what?
That class got cancelled too!!!....not really, but what happened instead was that I had somehow managed to inadvertently chang the locking code for my bike lock the last time I went to lock up my bike, and now my bike is perpetually locked downstairs with some unknown code. How it happened I don't really know, all I know is that there wasn't much rejoicing after that.
Ah the small things in life that make life interesting...
Game on.

"Rejoice in the LORD always, again I say 'Rejoice'". I'm hoping and praying that you're finding REAL joy in things that last ... not cancelled classes.
In case the truth of it eluded you, it is a snow SEASON ... and seasons are inherently transitory! sorry to break it to you.
Enjoy the leaves, the snow and the slopes!
Love and prayers,
Lav
