rocking out the rockies
The first 3 things I think of when I think Canadia are:1) Whistler
2) Eh?
3) the Rockies
well, like any good tourist, I finally fulfilled my duty by par-taking in a tour of the Rockies with a bunch of other exchange students and some other randoms from around the joint. Now, everyone has their own little secret recipe for having a good time...mine's kinda simple and not much of a secret...good company, and that i had no shortage of on this trip. And, while good times are...good, awesome times are better, so we spiced things up a little bit more by adding in a garnish of good laughs, hot tubs, water slides, a dodgy chinese buffet, sleep deprivation, THE ROCKIES, 1 bus, 55 people, and a 21yr old tour guide...it had FULLY SIC BRO written all over it. The only sucker was the bad weather that plagued the trip, but even then, it was not biggie in the scheme of things.
At the end of the day, truth be told, its hard not to let your mind be blown away by the immensity, the beauty and creativity of the Rockies. It's an amazing part of creation, and again and again, throughout the trip, I couldn't help but think that there must be more to all that I saw than shear chance creating it...a probability so fractionally minutely small, that it had no logical sense backing it. No, chance doesn't create something as beautiful as what I saw...but God does.
here are a few snaps of the trip:
Canadian ingenuity at its best EH!!!
