The end of an old begining gives way to the start of something new.

So it's well into the new year and it's been a while since I've updated this thing. I guess a few things have happened since then...last days @ Whistler, bidding my fellow Canadians a goodbye, heading down to the States to give my good old aunt a visit, having a good feed on some most triumphantly excellent food and finally making my way back down to the southern hemisphere with enough time to shake off the winter chill and get back into the roll of the summer vibe. Yes, I'm lovin' it despite the persistent rain that has plagued Auckland since the day I arrived. Nonetheless, there are few other things that match the simple pleasure of strutting around in a pair of shorts, a t-shirt and a pair of comfy sandels on a summer's evening.

Frankly, I'm pumped. But with the new, its always good to mix in a bit of the old, the fimiliar and the comfortable. So this chapter of the Maple Leaf Story introduces a new protagonist, commonly known as VoVo, Chalky or Vaux. For those who don't know Chalky, this is the clown I'm going to be travelling with...
